On Tuesday afternoon we split with Alex because she had to go back to school on Wednesday while we had the whole week off so Allie and I went to Roma! We spent three nights there and every morning we woke up at the crack of dawn to start our trek through Rome. We saw everything! Or everything we wanted to see, because it is huge! It was amazing seeing everything that you have learned about through history in person like the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Roman Forum, ect. We were amazed not only by the rich history, but also the art and architecture that surrounded us. Michelangelo’s painting in the Sistine Chapel was breathtaking. Everything about Rome was incredible. Looking forward to going back!
